Hi there! We’re Sam & Paige.

Paige and I first met as young kids in Traverse City, long before we knew we were meant to be together. Reconnecting in college, everything clicked. While Paige finished her degree at Grand Valley State University, I attended the United States Naval Academy. Upon my commissioning into the Marine Corps, we married back in our hometown of Traverse City.

Our military service took us across the globe. We started in Beaufort, South Carolina—soaking in low-country charm and taking weekend trips to the Appalachian Mountains. When the opportunity arose to move to Japan, we jumped in head-first. We spent three incredible years in Japan, traveling extensively throughout Asia and Oceania. Next came three more unforgettable years stationed on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, where we welcomed our first daughter, Grace.
